18k or 21k gold — which to choose?

18-carat gold (750/1000) is the international standard: 75% pure gold with 25% alloy for daily-wear durability. The right call if you want a band that handles sport, manual work and water without deforming.

21-carat gold (875/1000) is culturally rooted in Tunisia and across the Maghreb: the colour is deeper, warmer, and the resale value higher gram for gram. The trade-off is softness — 21k marks more easily over time, so it suits ceremony pieces more than heavy daily wear.
